Cryptos licensing system is a universal online system for charging of use of your applications and IT systems. It enables to generate user licenses for any application developed by you and to administrate such licenses.

In this way, the Cryptos licensing system gives you full control over the distribution and use of your application, so you do not have to be concerned anymore about the fact that someone profits from you application at your expense or that the application is being distributed without your awareness.

  • There are no anonymous users to the application, every user is uniquely identified in the system. This allows to define the rights for its use and to create various types of licenses for different user categories.

  • Example of a specific licensing method:

  • The system allows to define price modifications:
    • for repeated transactions based on a "unique identifier", allowing to make their charging more profitable (e.g. the use with a license with a limited number of uses will not be charged).
    • by utilizing a "fair-use policy" (i.e. restricting large users and ensuring more space for smaller ones)
    • for different modes of charging depending on the actual time
    • for user groups with a special charging mode depending on the action being executed or based on specific parameters of that action
    • when used after a different specific use (e.g. the user can obtain the operation "B" in a more profitable way provided he carried out an operation "A" recently).
  • Licensing parameters, pricing of licenses or the functionality structure of linked applications can be modified at any time. This allows to react to the market trends in a flexible way. Changes can be applied to existing licenses and users or only to new licenses and users.
  • The Cryptos licensing system is designed to everyone who develops applications for a large number of end users and wants to limit or completely prevent their illegal use − however, these applications have to be connected to the Internet.
  • The Cryptos licensing system is primarily designed for the purpose of licensing and charging of use of software but it can be also used for licensing / charging in the following cases:
    • Use of single-purpose hardware devices
    • Downloading of files
    • Video on demand
    • VoIP telephony
    • Charging of small mobile operators
  • Administration of a database with application users
  • Generation and administration of licenses:
    • Definition of license types and properties (link to license types)
    • Definition of rules for using an application or individual functions of this application
